You should read these guides before consulting your design company so that you have a reasonable idea of what they are offering and therefore do not get convinced that you should buy something that you don't really need.

Brochure Sites - Usually online version of your paper flyers / brochures that you give to new customers. Consist of static pages that are rarely updated.

Dynamic Sites - These are more complex sites that can be maintained by the owner, and are usually updated on a daily / monthly basis without any intervention from the designer.

Search Engine Placement - This the submission to, and optimisation of, your website for search engines such as Google so that people can find your website more easily when searching for keywords.
