MyDigitalMedia is the brain child of young and enthusiastic Kurt Farrar. Throughout his childhood and entire career he's encountered an unimaginable number of situations where companies and individuals have provided the wrong solution to make more money.
AfteAfter qualifying as a software developer he began his career in IT as a professional web designer for a small company then known as Dreamworks Web Design Ltd (although now established as Netsters) running both sthelensonline.com and warringtononline.com. During his time with Dreamworks Web Design he encountered various 'bleak' websites.
Following on from working with Dreamworks Web Design he joined Electronic Data Systems Ltd (EDS) a global leader in IT who although being No. 1 in the UK and globally at various points (in competition with IBM) are better known for their bad publicity with some of their major customers, no thanks to Computer Weekly and Computing magazines.
Whilst working for EDS for 4 years he gained a strong appreciation for business processes and practices as well as the ability to assess the customer's needs. This put him into a position where he could recommend and implement solutions directly to his customer (Her Majesty's Prison Service) and gained the respect and trust of senior members within the IT Departments of HMPS.
Finally after nearly 5 years of working for EDS it was time for a change and a new challenge and Kurt finally moved on to fill a Programmer Analyst role within a reasonably large and well respected firm of Solicitors based in Liverpool City Centre where he continues to work at present. He is devoted to improving the use of IT and this is apparent with the changes he is influencing within the firm that he currently works for.
Shortly after joining the firm of Solicitors, MyDigitalMedia was launched and through word of mouth Kurt's reputation, for being keen and willing to improve IT of small businesses, spread fairly quickly to give MyDigitalMedia the reputation it has today.
